Lovely Little Miss A/Norfolk Family Photographer

WOW!  I can't believe how long it's been since I blogged and how far behind I am with all my fun sessions I have to post.  A little thing called "Maddox's Summer Vacation" is to blame...there was so much to do this summer something had to take a hit and it turned out to be my blogging schedule (and Sam's too, if you haven't noticed).  Well, now the little man is back in school and we are finally starting to catch up.

Here is sweet little A's 9 month old session.  Isn't she a doll baby!  I'll be posting her 12 month session pretty soon so keep a look out for it.

Angela's Maternity Session/Norfolk

I was thrilled to photograph Angela and her daughter, Rose, together for Angela's maternity Session.  Angela is also a newborn and children's photographer in Norfolk so it's fun to get together with her and talk "shop."  I recently delivered her great big canvas to her of the one of her with Rose in the window reading the book.  LOVE that photo and the message on the book page is fantastic!  When I look at that picture it makes me think about all the possibilities ahead for Rose, and James, who arrived in early July!  Congratulations on the birth of James, Angela...I can't wait to meet him.

Hampton Roads Child Photographer/Brother & Sister

Remember this adorable brother and sister?  My big man "N" is the little darling on the website posing as a newborn on his tummy on my beanbag prop.  That newborn shot is one of my favorites ever.  It is soooo sweet.  Look how big he is now at almost one year!  And sister "A" is so adorable with him.  She's a great big sister and you can just tell that they are going to have a great life together.  They both have such a sparkle in their eyes - irresistable!

Thanks for stopping by...

Snow Day 2010

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share some of the pictures we took the weekend we had the snow storm.  Pretty much everyone who has kids on our block came out to hang out and enjoy the snow.  It certainly was exciting and there were some little ones for whom it was their first time in the snow (okay, really only Gypsy, our puppy, but she counts, too!).

I think Maddox is about to bomb me with a snowball here...thank goodness the snow wouldn't really compact too much!

This is our neighbors' great dane, Bella.

Gypsy was pretty cold and unsure about the snow at this point.

Then we put her sweater on her:

Oh, I can dig in this stuff:

We made a sled run on the steps of the church across the street...
